Brisbane Indoor Hockey League (BIHL) is a sub-committee of the Brisbane Hockey Association Inc (BHA) that was formed to co-ordinate and manage indoor hockey competitions for men, women & juniors. Brisbane has played indoor hockey since the mid 1980's at various loactions and under differing management.

Indoor hockey is a variation of field hockey with modified rules:

This allows participation for all players in a faster, more exciting and safer environment.

Indoor hockey is played during the field hockey off season. The Brisbane Indoor Hockey League (BIHL) commences in early October and continues through to the end of February with a break for Christmas. The BIHL competitions are played in the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kedron State High School, 34 Park Road, Wooloowin, Qld.

• Indoor Development Clinics - 23rd & 24th Sept.

Pre season development sessions have been scheduled aimed at new players to indoor and those players looking to enhance there skills. Parents whom may be running teams in our local competition are more than welcome to stay and learn from the coaches.

• Hockey Queensland Indoor Player Registration 2017/18

Hockey Queensland have advised that all indoor players are required to registration via the SportsTG HQ Indoor database (as per the outdoor registration process) and pay the compulsory HQ Indoor Player Registration Fee. Please view formal advice from Hockey Qld.
