Brisbane Indoor Hockey League (BIHL) is a sub-committee of the Brisbane Hockey Association Inc (BHA) that was formed to co-ordinate and manage indoor hockey competitions for men, women & juniors. Brisbane has played indoor hockey since the mid 1980's at various loactions and under differing management.

Indoor hockey is a variation of field hockey with modified rules:

This allows participation for all players in a faster, more exciting and safer environment.

Indoor hockey is played during the field hockey off season. The Brisbane Indoor Hockey League (BIHL) commences in early October and continues through to the end of February with a break for Christmas. The BIHL competitions are played in the Indoor Sports Hall of the Kedron State High School, 34 Park Road, Wooloowin, Qld.

• Indoor Season 2018/19 coming to an end

Another record and successful season draws to an end with Sunday's junior finals day. The 2018/19 season started last October - spanned 17 weeks for fixtures & finals, plus we hosted the U15 boys State team Challange and the Christmas break. A total of 139 teams contested up to 59 games a week - 806 games in total. A big thanks to all who participated as a player, spectator, coach / manager or umpire.
