General Outline

Indoor hockey is played during the field hockey off season, starts in late Sept. / early Oct. and runs through to the end of Feb. with a Christmas break. As with past years we are limited to the number of teams that can be accepted due to our venue availability, hopefully we can accommondate the demand.

Indoor hockey participtaion is considered a 'social' form of the sport with the upper divisions of each separate competition reflecting players for higher level selection. Despite the 'social' nature, we elect to formulate and manage teams into structured divisions / fixtures / competition.

The actual make up of the various competitions in Season 2020/21 will depend upon the number of team nominations and the outcomes of BIHL grading. COVID-19 restrictions will impact the number of junior teams that can be accepted and spectator numbers.
