Players will need to form or join a team (ie. friends or field hockey club), then submit the Team Nomination Form (via Revsport > Events) by the closing date. This enables sorting of nominated teams into various divisions to form the various competitions. Age & gender restrictions apply (Refer Competition Rules & Requirements).
Indoor Hockey Competitions proposed for Season 2024/25
Senior Competitions
Senior games will start from 6 pm nightly with the six (6) timeslots available spaced every 45 minutes on a rotation basis.
- Monday nights - fixtures to commence 7th Oct.
- Senior Women - Divisions 3, 4 & 5
- Five (5) teams per division
- Round robin competition of 3 rounds + finals = 17 weeks.
- Div 5 fixtures post X/mas move to Tuesday night (avoids late games)
- Tuesday nights - fixtures to commence 24th Sept.
- Senior Men & Women - Division 1 - pre X/ams only
- Fout (4) teams per division / gender
- Round robin competition of 3 rounds + final = 10 weeks.
- Senior Women - Division 6 - fixtures to commence 1st Oct.
- Round robin competition of 3 rounds + finals = 17 weeks.
- Post X/mas - Div 5 fixtures
- Wednesday nights - fixtures to commence 25th Sept.
- Senior Men - Division 2 - pre X/mas only (5 teams)
- Senior Women - Division 2 - pre X/mas only (6 teams).
- Round robin competition of 2 rounds.
- Thursday nights - fixtures to commence 3rd Oct.
- Senior Men - Division 5 (5 teams)
- Round robin competition of 3 rounds + finals = 17 weeks.
- Senior Men - Division 3 & 4 (8 teams)
- Iniatally all combined in 1 round over 7 weeks
- Then split into 2 division of 4 teams with 2 rounds + finals
Junior (Mixed) Competition
- Saturday morning - (18 teams) fixtures to commence 26th Oct..
- Mixed Juniors - being our lowest 4 divisions (J9 - J12) of up to 5 teams per division
- Two (2) weeks of grading games then sorted into divisionjs
- Games every 40 minutes from 8.20 am till 1.40 pm
- Round robin competition of 2 rounds + 2 grading games + finals = 14 weeks.
- Sunday all day - (max. 40 teams) fixtures to commence 26th Oct.
- Mixed Junior's - being 8 divisions of 5 teams (J8-J1)
- Two (2) weeks of grading games then sorted into divisionjs
- Games every 40 minutes from 8.20 am till 7 pm
- Round robin competition of 2 rounds + 2 grading games + finals = 14 weeks.
