The aim is to provide pathways for indoor hockey in Brisbane / Queensland. The more specific aims are:
- To improve the standard of indoor hockey for players
- To provide qualified coaches for our representative teams
- To gain success for Brisbane teams at State Titles / Events
- To provide development opportunities for players, coaches, umpires and officials
Nominations for team officials (Coach, Manager, Selectors) and player nominations must be submitted via RevSport - Events
Two (2) Brisbane teams per gender per age group is intended but this is dependant upon nomination levels and HQ acceptable.
Only players who are Primary registered and playing in BIHL competition are eligible for selection based upon trial attendance.
A selection panel of four (4) min. being 2 x coaches & 2 x independents is planned to pick teams with ratification by BIHL committee - ideally no parents or relatives of nominated players will be considered.
Representative teams are covered in BIHL Competition Rules & Requirements (Section 9).
